Digestive fire or digestive strength is discussed with some frequency across different herbalism and wellness traditions. However, oftentimes we don’t take the time to really break down our understanding of what is meant by digestive fire. Agni (digestive fire), prana (life force), and ojas (vitality) are like the three legs of a three-legged stool: each one plays a key role in health—and if one goes, the whole stool topples over.
